This is how you can keep smelling your perfume all day long: Do's and don'ts

Your Daily Aces perfume is an extension of who you are. Isn't it a shame if that part of you disappears far too quickly, because you don't know the right care and application of scents (yet)? We are going to tell you how to make sure that you keep smelling your favorite scent all day long. Today's mission: Save your scent! If you ask us, scent is the most powerful sense we have. Perfumes allow you to differentiate yourself from others, to show character and to express your emotions, mood and mindset in a unique way. Scent triggers something. It not only affects how you feel, but also how others feel about you. In short: more than enough reasons to make sure your Daily Aces perfume lasts as long as possible. Here's how. Scents last all day: 3x do In the heat of the moment. Fragrances need heat to evaporate and release their scent. Therefore, apply it to the warmest places on your body: your neck, wrists, behind your ears, the insides of your elbows and the hollows of your knees. Can’t smell the perfume on your skin all day? Don’t panic. This is because the scent of the perfume merges with the scent of your skin and this doesn’t mean that others can’t smell it either.   Do you also want to enjoy your scent longer? Then spray the perfume not only on your skin, but also on your clothes. Just try it: when you spray the scent on your favorite blazer, you will continue to smell your perfume all day long and you will still smell it a few days later. Vaseline to the rescue. The oilier your skin type, the better a perfume can develop on the skin and continue to smell. Fortunately, we can give nature a helping hand every now and then. First, spread a little odorless Vaseline on the places where you are going to spray your perfume and you are good to go. Simple but smart: the Vaseline perfume trick works like a charm. You can also replace the greasy base layer of Vaseline with a nice body lotion. You can learn to experiment. Another important question is: do I no longer smell the perfume that I often wear, or is this also the case for the people around me? Our brains often filter out a scent when they have smelled it for a while. It is therefore always a good idea to alternate your perfumes, so that you keep your nose and therefore your brain sharp. Don't be afraid to use different perfumes over and after each other, for example a more neutral scent with a more pronounced scent. Nothing is too crazy, so discover your favorite scent per place. How to Keep Smelling Fragrances All Day: 3 Don'ts Rubbing is prohibited. Although rubbing after applying perfume is an automatic action for many, we will always tell you not to do it. Rubbing creates heat, which causes the top notes of your perfume - the scent you smell first when you spray your perfume - to evaporate almost immediately. Kind of a waste, don't you think? Instead, gently pat to spread the perfume. You will see that you can smell the perfume all day long. Keep it cool. Dark, cool and well closed. These are the magic words when it comes to storing your Daily Aces perfume(s). Light can affect the ingredients in the perfume and make them smell less strong, heat accelerates the aging process and oxygen causes oxidation. Therefore, do not place your bottle in a damp or warm bathroom, or near a window with sunlight, but store it safely in a closed cupboard, in a cool bedroom or in the original packaging. Less is more Although you want to carry your scent with you all day, you don't want the whole room to smell you when you enter a room. It is also much more elegant and intimate to only smell someone when you are standing close to them. Don't overdo it! Your super scent is worth cherishing.
